With Diablo I coming to Game, I thought it would be a great time to share the top 10 things I wish I knew before I started playing Diablo 4. At the same time, MMOexp will provide better D4 Gold. If you’ve been following this channel or are familiar with Diablo I, some of this might be old news, but for newcomers, these tips will help you get started on the right foot. Let’s dive in!

Character Creation
1.When you’re on the character select screen, click the red button labeled “Create New Character.” This takes you to a campfire scene where you’ll see five characters, each representing one of the game’s classes:
2.Barbarian: A melee fighter with high damage and resilience. They excel at close combat and can use abilities like Berserk and Unstoppable to enhance their combat prowess.
3.Necromancer: Masters of the undead, Necromancers can summon skeletons and golems, and use Bone, Blood, and Shadow magic to control the battlefield.
4.Sorcerer: Elemental spellcasters who can wield Cold, Fire, and Lightning magic. They can freeze, burn, and electrocute their enemies.
5.Rogue: Agile fighters who can switch between ranged and melee combat. They excel at using bows, daggers, and traps, and can imbue their attacks with elemental damage.
6.Druid: Versatile shapeshifters who can transform into werewolves or werebears. They also have access to nature spells, summoning animals, and controlling the weather.
7.Once you’ve chosen your class, you can customize your character’s appearance and gender before jumping into the game.

Gameplay Settings
For new players, I recommend avoiding Hardcore mode. Diablo 4 is an online-only game, meaning server issues or connectivity problems could cause you to lose progress. Stick to the standard mode to avoid unnecessary frustration.
As for the campaign, I highly recommend playing through it. The story, voice acting, and cinematics are top-notch. Even though you can skip the campaign, it’s a great way to learn the game and get familiar with the world.

Seasonal vs. Eternal
When starting the game, you’ll choose between Seasonal and Eternal realms. Seasonal characters get access to new content every three months and then transfer to the Eternal realm at the season’s end. There’s no downside to playing Seasonal, so I recommend starting there to enjoy all the new features and updates.

Difficulty Setting
Start on Adventurer difficulty. It’s the easiest setting and perfect for learning the game. You can always increase the difficulty later if you find it too easy.

Skill Points
When leveling up, you gain skill points to spend on abilities. The skill tree is divided into clusters, with each cluster requiring a certain number of points to unlock the next. Focus on investing in one skill from the first cluster to generate your main resource, then spend points to unlock more powerful abilities in the subsequent clusters.

Build Guides
While there are plenty of build guides available, I suggest experimenting with your own builds first. Diablo 4 isn’t overly challenging, so you’ll have fun discovering synergies and strategies on your own. However, if you prefer using guides, there are many websites like Icy Veins and Maxroll to help you out.

Selling vs. Salvaging Items
Early in the game, it’s more beneficial to salvage items at the blacksmith for crafting materials rather than selling them for Diablo 4 gold. You’ll accumulate gold naturally, but crafting materials will help you upgrade your gear and improve your character’s power.

Gear and Equipment
In the early game, focus on whether new gear increases your damage or armor. Don’t worry too much about secondary stats until you reach higher levels. Just keep equipping items that boost your primary attributes.

Understanding Vendors
As you progress, you’ll encounter various vendors:
1.Jeweler: Craft and upgrade jewelry.
2.Alchemist: Upgrade potions.
3.Purveyor of Curiosities: Gamble for random items using obols.
4.Occultist: Enchant gear (best saved for higher levels).

Renown and Altars of Lilith
Maximizing Renown in each region of Sanctuary provides valuable rewards. Focus on completing activities that increase Renown, as these benefits apply to all future characters. Additionally, find and activate Altars of Lilith, which grant permanent stat boosts and other bonuses. These also transfer to future characters, making it worth your time to collect them early.

That wraps up our top 10 tips for new Diablo 4 players. I hope these tips help you get started and enjoy the game to its fullest.
