Welcome back to another Throne and Liberty guide! Today, we’ll dive into the specifics of my final endgame Crossbow Dagger build. As discussed in my previous video, where I outlined the gear I’m farming, we won’t rehash that here. Instead, we’ll focus on the intricacies of my skills, specializations, and playstyle, creating a well-rounded build for both PvP and PvE scenarios.

Understanding the Build Mechanics

The core of any effective build lies in its skills. After some experimentation, I removed Detonation Mark from my setup. Instead, I’ve optimized my skills to maximize damage output and survivability.

1. Thunderclouds Bombing: This skill is central to my PvP strategy. By using Lightning Infusion, I can inflict poison on my target, then hit them repeatedly to stack the effect. Once I reach 20 stacks, activating Thunderclouds Bombing delivers a massive burst of damage.

2. Camouflage Cloak: Retaining the same duration as before, this skill remains essential for survivability. It provides necessary stealth, allowing me to reposition during fights.

3. Shadow Strike: I’ve tweaked this skill to enhance its bind duration, making it versatile for both escaping and catching fleeing opponents. The increased range makes it one of my favorite skills, letting me cover ground quickly.

4. Quick Fire Combo: For the crossbow, I utilize this combo for rapid attacks, enhanced by the extra charge for increased damage output. Pairing this with Nimble Leap allows me to reset the cooldown of Quick Fire, cycling through my damage abilities effectively.

5. Selfless Diffusion: This controversial choice provides a health concentration buff, boosting my movement speed. It’s invaluable for maintaining agility during combat.

Skill Specializations

When it comes to specializations, the decisions made significantly influence both PvP and PvE effectiveness.

Nature’s Protest: While I continue to use Lightning Arrow for its single-target damage, if I focus on AoE encounters, switching to Gale Arrow is beneficial, allowing for area damage without being limited to Annihilation Barrage.

Wind Snatcher: This skill increases my attack speed and movement speed when triggered, enhancing my DPS and helping me avoid boss mechanics in PvE.

Passive Skills

Passive skills augment my overall damage and survivability. Key choices include:

Piercing Strike: Increases damage and stamina regeneration, essential for maintaining pressure in combat.

Destructive Fang: Reduces target defenses when they have poison or thunderclouds applied, synergizing perfectly with my primary damage skills.

Shadow Walker: Boosts my damage reduction while using mobility skills, improving my survivability in high-stakes encounters.

Blood Lust: This stacking damage ability increases my overall skill damage based on the number of hits landed, enhancing critical hit damage as well.

Stat Distribution and Weapon Mastery

Stat Points

For optimal performance, my current allocation stands at:

Strength: 30

Dexterity: 50

Perception: 24

As I acquire my endgame gear, I anticipate adjustments to:

Strength: 40

Dexterity: 50

Perception: 30 or 40

This distribution allows for a balanced approach. Alternatively, I could emphasize either strength or perception based on playstyle preference — whether I want to prioritize survivability or pure damage output.

Weapon Mastery

For my weapon mastery, I focus on maximizing damage output with the following setup:

Crossbow: I’m prioritizing the bottom tree for enhanced damage, paired with the middle tree for increased range hit chance and mana regeneration.

Dagger: Similar to the crossbow, I lean towards the assassin path for damage and attack speed while maintaining survival skills.

Damage Combos and Gameplay Tips

Damage Combos

Executing damage combos is where the build truly shines. The core combo involves:

1. Applying Lightning Infusion until reaching 20 stacks.

2. Activating Thunderclouds Bombing for a substantial damage spike.

3. Following up with Quick Fire and utilizing Nimble Leap for mobility, maintaining pressure on the opponent.

For those venturing into PvE, I recommend switching out Thunderclouds Bombing for Recoil Shot, utilizing the Wave Shot specialization for increased safety and damage efficiency.

Gameplay Tips

Positioning: Always be aware of your positioning. The Crossbow Dagger build allows you to maintain distance while dealing damage, so use the agility afforded by your skills to keep foes at bay.

Timing: Timing your skill rotations is crucial. Make sure to stack Lightning Infusion effectively before using Thunderclouds Bombing for maximum damage output.

Mobility: Use Nimble Leap and Camouflage Cloak not just for attack, but to reposition and escape when necessary.

Conclusion

This Crossbow Dagger build is tailored for players looking to balance damage output and survivability while excelling in both PvP and PvE environments. The synergy between skills and specializations creates a dynamic and enjoyable gameplay experience.
